空间与亚轨道实验对宏观暗物质探测的前景

摘要
我们比较了两种用于建模宏观尺度/大质量夸克块(亦称 macros)在地球大气中能量沉积的形式体系。我们表明,对于 1 g 的参考质量,两种形式体系的 macro 光度预测之间存在约 14 个数量级的差异。基于该发现,我们估算了空间(Mini-EUSO 与 POEMMA)及亚轨道(EUSO-SPB2)实验对 macro 探测的灵敏度。
