电弱对称性破缺的研究是欧洲核子研究中心大型强子对撞机(LHC)实验的主要任务之一。本文介绍了ATLAS实验在标准模型和最小超对称标准模型中发现希格斯玻色子的潜力，重点介绍了近期完成的研究。
