低红移阻性Lyman α星系的性质

presented five QSO场面的图像，包含六个位于红移0.09<z<0.53之间的阻性Lyman α (DLA) 系统。对DLA星系进行了识别，以解释DLA系统的来源。讨论了DLA星系的观测与模型特征。DLA星系的影响参数范围为< 4 kpc至≈ 34 kpc，亮度范围为≈ 0.03L*至≈ 1.3L*。其形态包括无定形低表面亮度系统、一种可能的矮星系螺旋星系，以及亮螺旋星系。
