摘要
极弱资源光学标识符（ELROI）信标是一种毫瓦级光学“牌照”概念，可为进入太空的一切物体提供唯一 ID 编号。利用光子计数实现实时极端背景抑制，即使地面站每秒仅探测到少数光子，也能在几分钟内从地面唯一识别该 ID 编号。ELROI 概念已在远距离地面测试中验证，轨道原型机计划于 2018 年及以后发射。我们讨论了这些原型机的设计与信号特性，包括一个已集成到 CubeSat 中、目前计划于 2018 年 5 月发射的 PC-104 外形尺寸单元，以及观测它们对地面站的基本要求。我们鼓励他人考虑观测我们的试飞任务。
