本文综述了关于 Wolf-Rayet 星的最新定量分析进展，强调了光谱诊断、密集效应与线填充对推导星际属性所起的作用。讨论了 Wolf-Rayet 星的致电属性，基于对 WN 与 WC 星的密集、线填充模型。评估了金属丰度与质量损失的作用，以及 HII 区域作为 Wolf-Rayet 星 Lyman 连续分布探针的作用。提出了关于 WCE 与 WO 亚型观察属性差异的建议。
