利用非平面四镜光学腔实现脉冲激光束与 GeV 电子的康普顿散射产生伽马射线

摘要

作为未来正负电子对撞机正电子源研发及基于康普顿散射的紧凑型光源工作的一部分,一台高精细度非平面四镜法布里-珀罗腔近期已在 ATF(日本筑波高能加速器研究机构)安装就绪。本文首次展示了利用该腔体与脉冲激光产生伽马射线通量的测量结果。我们在调试阶段实现了每个束团穿越产生 2.7 ± 0.2 个伽马射线的通量(约每秒 3×10^6 个伽马光子)。
