摘要
两年一度的“稀疏模型与技术交互国际巡回研讨会”(iTWIST)的隐含目标是促进国际科学团队之间的合作，通过具体的口头/海报展示和自由讨论来传播思想。第二届iTWIST研讨会于2014年8月27日星期三至8月29日星期五在比利时中世纪风景如画的那慕尔镇举行。研讨会地点便利地设在“兵工厂”大楼内，步行即可到达酒店和市中心。iTWIST'14聚集了约70名国际参与者，并设有9场特邀报告、10场口头报告和14张海报，主题均与“稀疏范式”的理论、应用和推广相关：稀疏驱动的数据感知与处理；低维子空间的并集；超越线性和凸逆问题；矩阵/流形/图感知/处理；盲逆问题与字典学习；稀疏与计算神经科学；信息论、几何与随机性；数值方法中的复杂度/精度权衡；稀疏性？下一步是什么？；稀疏机器学习与推理。
