我们报告了在Keck天文台完成的年轻超新星光谱偏振巡天的结果，涵盖了主要超新星类型的至少一个实例：Ia型（1997dt）、Ib型（1998T、1997dq）、Ib/c特殊型（1997ef）、IIn型（1997eg）和II-P型（1997ds）。所有天体均显示出内禀偏振的证据，表明非球对称性可能是年轻超新星大气中的普遍特征。
