探测硬X射线选巨射电星系中的重启活动

巨射电星系(GRGs)尺寸大于0.7 Mpc,是宇宙中最大的单体天体。迄今为止,其达到如此巨大尺度的原因仍不清楚。一种提出的情形认为它们是喷流活动多次爆发的结果。将INTEGRAL+Swift活动星系核(AGN)样本与射电星表(NVSS、FIRST、SUMSS)进行交叉比对,我们发现22%的源为GRG(比从射电星表选出的比例高四倍)。显著的是,样本中80%显示出射电活动重启的迹象。X射线性质与此情形一致,这些源相对于产生射电瓣的先前活动处于高吸积、高光度状态。
