昴星团望远镜主焦点光谱仪的主焦点仪器

摘要

主焦点光谱仪(PFS)是一种专为 8.2 米昴星团望远镜(Subaru telescope)主焦点设计的新型光学/近红外多光纤光谱仪。PFS 将利用 2394 根光纤覆盖 1.3 度直径的视场,以补充 Hyper SuprimeCam (HSC) 的成像能力。PFS 的主焦点单元称为主焦点仪器(PFI),它提供了与昴星团望远镜顶部结构的接口,并容纳了装有 Cobra 光纤定位器的光学平台。此外,采集与导引(A&G)相机、光纤定位器系统、电缆包裹装置、基准光纤、照明器与观测器、视场元件以及遥测系统均位于 PFI 内部。PFI 的机械结构经过特别设计,使其挠度与 HSC 宽场校正器(WFC)的挠度充分匹配,从而确保光纤在观测过程中保持在目标位置上,满足所需的精度要求。
