PSR0540-69 盘旋星系的前超新星环

SNR0540-69 是一颗位于小行星座星系 (LMC) 中的超新星遗迹，拥有一颗年龄约为 1600 岁的射电/光学/X 射线脉冲星 (P=50 ms)。地面基准 Hα 成像显示该区域具有独特的螺旋状结构，围绕脉冲星中心。在窄带 HST 成像中，这一特征似乎被分辨为环形结构，可能是在超新星前 (>10⁴ 年前) 由其前体星释放出来的。
