摘要
计算了风刹车模型中脉冲星自转与倾角的耦合演化。倾斜脉冲星倾向于对齐。脉冲星对齐将影响其自转减慢行为。当脉冲星从磁偶极辐射主导情形演化到粒子风主导情形时,刹车指数将先增大后减小。在早期,刹车指数可能大于 3。而在随后的长时间内,刹车指数将始终小于 3。最小刹车指数约为 1。这可以同时解释大于 3 的高刹车指数和脉冲星的低刹车指数的存在。预期脉冲星刹车指数从大于三演化到约一。总体趋势是脉冲星刹车指数将从类蟹状星云脉冲星情形演化到类船帆座脉冲星情形。
