大型强子对撞机上新带电轻子的可能发现通道

摘要
我们提出了一个在大型强子对撞机上可能发现新带电轻子的通道。所提议的末态包含三个同号轻子，使得这一新通道几乎无本底。该方法通过两种不同情形加以说明：四族标准模型和基于E6规范群的大统一理论。以250 GeV作为带电轻子质量为例的研究表明，在两种模型中，质心能量为14 TeV、积分亮度为1 fb^-1时，可预期约8个信号事例。尽管事例产额可能不足以对带电轻子性质进行详细测量，但足以通过计数实验声称发现。
