presented for about 30颗Vega类星。将这些偏振值与正常场星的偏振进行比较。发现显著比预期因沿星际介质线-of-sight所致的偏振更大的Vega类星比例。这种额外偏振必须来自星体本身，由分布在扁平盘状结构中的星际散射物引起。发现Vega类星与红外过度之间存在相关性。
