一套科学仪器对任何高对比度成像设施都至关重要,因为它定义了可用的科学能力与观测模式。SCExAO采用模块化方法,允许在8米级望远镜的观测站环境中测试最先进的访客模块。这使得新且创新的成像技术能够快速原型化,而在传统仪器设计中则需更长时间。为使用于巨分段镜面望远镜(GSMTs)的先进高对比度成像仪的科学模块成熟化,该成像仪将能成像类地行星,我们提供SCExAO仪器内当前测试的各种科学模块的概述与状态更新。
