存储环中极化粒子的先导束与协同磁强计测量

摘要
在存储环上的极化实验中,挑战之一是将射频自旋旋转器的自旋共振条件与轨道粒子的自旋进动保持同步。环元件磁场的时变会导致自旋进动频率的非期望变化。我们在此报告通过屏蔽(或掩蔽)环中存储的其中一个束团免受自旋旋转器高频场的作用来解决该问题,使得被掩蔽的先导束充当其他信号束的协同磁强计,以约一秒的时间尺度追踪环中的波动。虽然该新方法主要为搜索带电粒子的电偶极矩而开发,但其可能对未来的自旋物理设施(如 EIC 与 NICA)具有深远影响。
