低能下π± p微分截面

核实验 2014-11-18 v1

摘要

在19.9至43.3 MeV之间的五个能量上测量了π⁻ p与π⁺ p弹性散射的微分截面。利用TRIUMF的CHAOS磁谱仪,并辅以用于抑制μ子本底的范围望远镜,可同时覆盖大部分全角范围,从而允许非常精确的相对截面测量。绝对归一化以5%的典型精度确定。这通过同时测量μ子质子弹性散射得以验证。所测截面显示与相移分析预言存在一些偏差,特别是在大角度与低能处。由新数据我们确定了同位旋向前散射振幅的实部。
