ETA-II/Snowtron双脉冲靶实验的物理设计

摘要
我们修改了实验测试加速器II（ETA-II）上的单脉冲靶实验设施，以进行双脉冲靶实验，验证DARHT-II多脉冲靶概念。1.15 MeV、2 kA的Snowtron注入器将提供第一个电子脉冲。6 MeV、2 kA的ETA-II束流将用作探针束。我们的建模表明，ETA-II/Snowtron实验是一个合理的缩放实验。
