CaFe 星际云中的物理条件

表现出强 Ca I 和 Fe I 谱线的星际云被称为 CaFe 云。我们利用电离平衡方程对 CaFe 云中 Ca II、Ca I、K I、Na I、Fe I 和 Ti II 的柱密度进行了建模。CaFe 云的化学组成与太阳系一致,未观察到元素向尘埃颗粒的耗竭。CaFe 云具有高电子密度 n=1 cm−3,这导致了中性 Ca 和 Fe 的高柱密度。
