使用CLAS探测器对 $f_2(1270)$ 介子的光生研究

摘要

f2(1270)f_2(1270) 介子的夸克结构多年来被假定为具有量子数 JPC=2++J^{PC} = 2^{++} 的纯夸克-反夸克(qqˉq\bar{q})共振态。最近有人提出 f2(1270)f_2(1270) 是由两个 ρ\rho 介子的吸引相互作用构成的分子态。由于主导衰变 ρπ+π\rho \to \pi^+ \pi^-,这样的态预期会强衰变到带电流子的末态,而衰变到两个中性π介子则可能被抑制。在此,我们利用杰斐逊实验室的CLAS探测器,在3.6-5.4~GeV的入射束流能量下,首次测量了反应 γpπ0π0p\gamma p \to \pi^0 \pi^0 p。由于本底较低,f2(1270)f_2(1270) 光生的微分截面 dσ/dtd\sigma / dt 被以良好的精度提取,并与理论计算进行了比较。
