质子中的光子:对LHC的影响

我们基于最新的NNPDF4.0部分子分布函数(PDF)集,构建了一组也包含光子PDF的PDF集。光子PDF使用LuxQED形式构建,同时实现了考虑O(α)、O(ααs)和O(α²)修正的QED演化,并通过EKO代码进行了基准测试。我们研究了QED效应对NNPDF4.0的影响,并将我们的结果与之前的NNPDF3.1QED PDF集以及其他近期包含光子的PDF集进行了比较。我们评估了光子引发过程和电弱修正对一系列代表性LHC过程的影响,发现它们在矢量玻色子对产生的大不变质量下可达到5%的水平。
