利用 LHC 能量下 "photon+Jet" 事件估计事件率以确定质子中的夸克分布

摘要
文中指出，利用 LHC 收集的 "photon+Jet" 事件，可获取足够的数据，从而提取质子中夸克分布函数。该方法利用在同一实验中通过另一种物理过程 A 测量的价值夸克和 s 夸克分布。可覆盖的新范围为 10^{-4}< x < 10^{-1}，Q^2 在 1.6x10^3< Q^2<10^5 ~(GeV/c)^2 之间。亦给出 g c-> photon +Jet 事件的事件率。
