摘要
过去十年中,若干光子计数技术得以发展,为低光子数 regime 的实验打开了新窗口。高能物理(HEP)中多个进行中与未来的项目受益于这些进展,其也将在HEP之外产生重大影响。在未来十年,充分开发这些传感器并给HEP带来巨大影响存在明确的技术机遇。本白皮书讨论了未来项目对光子计数技术的需求,并提出了应对这些需求的一些技术机遇。
