本文获取了近期探测到的食变星 GSC 4589-2999 的新 CCD 光变曲线，并使用 Wilson-Deninney 程序进行了分析。对该系统的光谱观测允许对子星进行光谱分类并测定其径向速度。给出了子星的物理性质和绝对参数以及该系统更新的星历表。
