我们总结了当前对极密夸克物质相结构的认识。我们重点关注渐近高密度下的基态——色味锁定(CFL)物质——如何随密度降低而改变。我们讨论了准粒子激发的性质，并介绍了关于致密QCD物质输运性质的研究工作。
