摘要

简要回顾了彼得·舍格洛夫博士（1932-2002）在台址测试领域的多方面贡献。他在中亚发现并研究了天文台址，开发了新的台址测试仪器，在同事中推广了新方法和技术，并培养了一代新的观测天文学家。
