用于切伦科夫望远镜阵列伽马射线天文学的小型望远镜(SST-1M)相机性能

摘要

CTA中小型望远镜(SST)的预期实现将为最高能量伽马射线提供独特的见解,为发现和理解银河系及我们邻近区域的源提供基本手段。为实现这一目标,SST-1M是为CTA进行原型设计和测试的三种不同实现之一。SST-1M是一种Davies-Cotton单镜望远镜,配备基于SiPM的独特相机技术,在占空比方面具有优于经典光电倍增管的优势。在本文中,我们描述了望远镜组件、相机以及触发和读出系统。然后介绍了使用专用测试装置对相机进行调试的结果。给出了相机第一个原型在不同夜空背景条件下的预期触发率和触发效率的性能,并将相机响应与端到端模拟进行了比较。
