Drell-Yan 双微子产生中的 Parton 能量损失限制与阴影效应

摘要
报告对 800 GeV/c 质子束照射 Be、Fe 和 W 靶标时,Drell-Yan 横截面 per nucleon 比值的精确测量。Drell-Yan 比值在小靶标 parton 动量分数处的行为良好地由对深层非弹性散射中观察到的阴影效应的现有拟合所描述。作为函数的 Drell-Yan 横截面比值相对于入射 parton 动量分数设定了对穿过冷原子核的夸克能量损失的严格限制。
