在原中子星早期阶段及其他条件下，研究了被电子包围的非均匀核物质中的配对效应。在亚饱和密度下的所谓核意面相在 Wigner-Seitz 元胞中、于 Thomas-Fermi 近似内求解。该问题的解对理解超新星爆发后新生中子星的物理至关重要。结果表明，在某些条件下核意面相比均匀核物质更稳定，并研究了配对力在确定这些稳定相中的相关性。
