轻核-核碰撞中低质量电子对过剩的起源

摘要

我们报告了使用HADES谱仪在1.25 GeV/u能量下基本p+p和d+p反应中电子对产生的测量结果。首次通过探测氘核破裂产生的质子旁观者,重建了n+p反应中的电子对。我们发现,在n+p反应中,不变质量Me+e- > 0.15 GeV/c2的电子对产额比p+p反应大约高一个数量级。与模型计算的比较表明,其产生机制尚未得到充分描述。在C+C反应中测量的电子对谱与基本n+p和p+p碰撞的叠加兼容,在这种轻碰撞系统中几乎没有为额外的电子对源留下空间。
