摘要
在本次讲座中，我概述了激波加速、高能宇宙射线与背景辐射的相互作用及其在背景辐射中的传播，以及由此产生的电子-光子级联。我认为，尽管最高能量宇宙射线的起源仍不确定，但无需引入奇异模型（如拓扑缺陷发射）来解释现有数据。法纳罗夫-莱利II类射电星系的激波加速似乎可以解释现有数据。然而，在确定自然界中最高能量粒子的起源之前，还需要新的宇宙射线数据，以及对河外辐射场和磁场更精确的估计。
