具有20年测光光变曲线的类星体的光学变星性

我们研究了SDSS Stripe 82区域内190个类星体样本的光学测光变星性,这些类星体在期间通过SDSS、PanSTARRS-1、暗能量巡天以及Blanco 4m/DECam的专门后续监测获得了长期测光覆盖。每个类星体在每个滤光带平均约有个夜次历元,我们改进了基于阻尼随机游走(DRW)模型对光变曲线拟合的参数约束,优于此前具有10-15年基线和个历元的研究。我们发现平均阻尼时标随基线延长持续上升,利用20年光变曲线在这些类星体静止系中达到中位值约天(波段)。一些类星体的光变曲线可能存在缓慢的长期趋势,表明要么DRW拟合需要极长基线才能收敛,要么这些类星体的底层变星性比单一DRW过程更为复杂。利用约束较好(小于基线的20%)的类星体子集,我们确认了的弱波长依赖性。我们进一步通过结构函数(SF)和功率谱密度(PSD)分析,量化了这些类星体在数天至数十年时标上的光学变星性。SF和PSD测量定性地确认了DRW拟合所测得的(数百天)阻尼时标。然而,对于这些亮类星体,在小于一个月的时标上,总体PSD比DRW更陡,并且这第二个拐点与较长的DRW阻尼时标相关。
