σ Orionis 星团中孤立行星质量天体的光学光谱

摘要
我们对 σ Orionis 星团中 15 个孤立行星质量天体（IPMOs）进行低分辨率光学光谱观测，并通过与附近 M 和 L 型暗星的比较来推导出光谱类型。光谱类型范围为晚 M - 中 L 型，与基于颜色和星等对正式成员的预期相符。因此，这些天体大多数人的质量低于氦燃烧极限。约 2/3 显示 Hα 辐射。从光谱和光度数据推断，这些样本中约有 3 个 IPMO 可能是由相似质量成分的双星组成。这些结果确认 σ Orionis 星团的亚恒星质量函数（以 形式）在行星域中保持上升趋势。
