超陡谱射电源的光学观测

摘要
本文对通过将 150 MHz GMRT 源与 74 MHz VLSS 或 1400 MHz NVSS 进行交叉匹配所发现的超陡谱源进行了后续光学观测。这些源可能是高红移射电星系，但需要光学证认以作澄清。后续观测利用 Liverpool Telescope 进行；在所有情况下，均未探测到 R 星等约 23 以下的源。通过应用模型并利用 K-z 关系，我们得以提出这些源可能处于高红移。我们讨论了 2m 级望远镜如何有助于从大规模低频巡天中证认 HzRGs。
