3C309.1 喷流中色散性自吸收的透射度

无线电源的“核心”被认为标志着同步辐射自吸收 (tau_s~1) 的频率依赖位置。这种频率依赖性可用于推导无线电发射区域及其靠近无线电源中心引擎的周围环境的物理条件。为测试和改进推导这些信息的模型，我们于1998年6月对3C309.1进行了多频率双极化观测，相位参考为S5 1448+76和4C72.20 (S5 1520+72) (距离分别为4d26'和1d49')。我们在此报告这些观测的初步结果：总强度和偏振强度图、从这些图像中推导的光谱信息，以及3C309.1相对于S5 1448+76在不同频率下的相对位置。最后，我们简要讨论一下观察到的核心位置位移。
