BL Lacertae对象PKS 2005-489中的持续星形成

摘要
我们对光谱亮的BL Lacertae对象PKS 2005-489进行VLT长缝光谱测绘。数据信噪比高且空间分辨率好，使我们能够在距离核约4 kpc的旋转环中检测到ongoing星形成的痕迹。我们发现该环几乎垂直于射电轴，其总星形成率约为1个太阳质量/年。我们简要讨论了recent星形成与核活动的共存。
