关于 LHeC 与 LHC 的关系

摘要

本说明依赖于最近发布的 LHeC 概念设计报告,并扩展了关于欧洲战略辩论的首次贡献,强调了 LHeC 在补充和完成高亮度 LHC 计划中的作用。因此,简要讨论集中于高精度 PDF 和 αs\alpha_s 测定对于标准模型之外物理(大统一理论、超对称、希格斯)的重要性。同时强调了核内高部分子密度现象的重要性及其与 LHC 重离子物理计划的相关性。
