滞留 Ly-α 系统中氮的起源

摘要
将近20个滞留 Ly-α 系统（DLA）中的氮和 α 元素测量值与大量 emission line 对象和恒星的类似测量值进行比较。发现 DLA 在 N/α-α/H 平面上的分布呈双峰，大多数样本 DLA 沿由矮星际 HII 区定义的 N/α 平台（plateau）所分布，而小部分样本在相似的 α/H 值下拥有约 0.7 倍于平台上 N/α 值。我们通过化学演化模型表明，利梭 IMF（初始质量函数）可解释第二组样本中氮的低值。
