SuperWASP 巡天中食双星 Am 星系统的发生率

摘要

本文展示了利用 SuperWASP 巡天的测光数据搜索食双星 Am 星系统的结果。分析了 1742 颗视星等暗于 V = 8.0 的 Am 星的光变曲线以寻找食现象。共发现 70 颗恒星表现出食现象,其中 66 颗拥有足够的观测数据以确定轨道周期,其中有 28 个是新发现的食双星系统。此外,还给出了其中 5 个系统的光谱轨道。发现系统数量及其周期分布与先前对“经典”Am 星的视向速度巡天所识别的结果一致。
