Type Ia超级新星1994D的高速抛射物

摘要
将使用参数化的超级新星合成光谱代码SYNOW生成的合成光谱与在光度最大之前获得的1994D号Ia型超级新星光谱进行比较。发现存在两个组成的Fe II和Ca II特征，分别在高速（≥20,000公里/秒）和低速（≤16,000公里/秒）物质中形成。讨论这些光谱分裂的可能解释，以及使用Ia型超级新星的早期光谱探测前体白矿星金属丰度以及爆炸外层核燃烧方式的意义。
