关于GW 150914后0.4秒观测到的GBM事件

摘要

鉴于Connaughton最近的报告,我们分析了Fermi-GBM在引力波事件GW 150914时刻附近的连续TTE数据。我们发现,在适当考虑低计数统计后,GW 150914后0.4秒的GBM暂现事件可能并非源于天体物理源,而是与背景涨落一致,从而消除了INTEGRAL/ACS未探测到与GBM之间的张力。此外,对其他短伽马射线暴的重新分析表明,若无恰当的统计建模,暗弱事件的总流量会被过高预测,这已通过一些短伽马射线暴的GBM-ACS联合探测得到验证。我们详述了纠正这些偏差的统计步骤。结果,经ACS探测证实的暗弱短伽马射线暴,即便其在宽波段光变曲线中的显著度甚至小于GBM-GW150914事件,也被恢复为恰当的非零源,而GBM-GW150914事件与零通量一致。
