利用MISTRAL通过Sunyaev Zel'dovich效应观测星系团与宇宙网

摘要

星系团及其周边介质可利用X射线轫致辐射发射和Sunyaev Zel'dovich(SZ)效应进行研究。这两种天体物理探针以不同的参数依赖关系对相同环境进行采样。SZ效应对低密度环境相对更敏感,因此可用于研究宇宙网的纤维状结构。此外,对物质分布的观测需要高角分辨率,以便能够绘制星系团内部及周围的物质分布。MISTRAL是一个工作在90GHz的相机,一旦与撒丁岛射电望远镜耦合,可在 44' 视场(f.o.v.)上达到 1212'' 角分辨率。预测灵敏度为 NEFD1015mJysNEFD \simeq 10-15mJy \sqrt{s},制图速度为 MS=3802/mJy2/hMS= 380'^{2}/mJy^{2}/h。MISTRAL最近已安装在SRT的焦点处,不久将接收其首批光子。
