二进制中子星银河系中引力波的观测限制

摘要
使用最优匹配滤波技术,我们搜索来自银河系内合并二进制系统发出的引力波啸叫信号。这是对该滤波技术在真实光学干涉仪数据上首次的测试。获得了银河系中中子星二进制惊喜的速率上限:以90%的置信水平,R< 0.5/小时。类似的实验将对宇宙中紧密二进制中子星系统的 Population 进行约束。
