我们考虑了大质量恒星演化的某些方面，这些方面只能通过“间接”观测来阐明，即测量大质量恒星对其环境的影响。我们详细讨论了在高金属丰度区域形成的大质量恒星的早期演化，这是从对外部星系HII区的研究中推断出来的。
