在 Omega- -> Lambda + K- 衰变中观察到奇异性破坏

摘要

我们测量了 Omega- -> Lambda + K- 过程中的 alpha 衰变参数,从 Fermilab 的 HyperCP (E871) 实验记录的 450 万个无偏振 Omega- 衰变中得到,结果为 [1.78 +/- 0.19(stat) +/- 0.16(syst)]×10^{-2}。这是对 Omega- -> Lambda + K- 衰变中 alpha 衰变参数非零且且奇异性破坏的首次明确证据。
