光的有效折射率长期变化的观测

摘要
在 LIGO S5 运行期间（2006年4月至2007年6月），H1 干涉仪的初步数据记录了在 14 个月周期内光的有效折射率的长期变化。这些变化是由于干涉仪臂上存在外部重力梯度所致。在扣除潮汐效应后，观测到了一种意外的每年两次的调制。
