宇宙射线与地震间大尺度前兆相关性的观测

摘要

对次级宇宙射线探测率与地震效应之间相关性的探索长期以来一直是研究课题,其动机是希望识别一种新型前兆,以服务于全球地震预警系统。本文首次表明,宇宙射线探测率的平均变化与将在约两周时间滞后后观测到的全球地震活动相关,且该效应的显著性以类似太阳十一年周期的周期性变化,相位偏移约三年,在局部极大值处超过6西格玛。所观测相关性的前兆特征指向了一种地震预警系统的先驱视角。
