基态双中子衰变的观测

摘要

中子衰变谱学已成为探索具有最大中子 - 质子比原子核核性质的成功工具。位于中子滴线之外的原子核共振可通过衰变产物的运动学重构来获取。NSCL 模块化中子阵列 (MoNA) 双中子探测能力的发展,开启了搜寻通过发射两个中子而衰变的未束缚原子核的可能性。具体而言,这种奇特的衰变模式在 16Be 和 26O 中被观测到。
