观测 B0 介子衰变至 a1(1260)^+- pi^+-

摘要
我们报告了测量 B0 衰变至 a1(1260)^{+-} pi^{-+} 分支比的方法，其衰变路径为 a1(1260)^{+-} \to \pi^{-+} \pi^{+-} \pi^{+-}。数据样本由 2.18 亿对 B B 反对子在 SLAC PEP-II 非对称能量 e+e- 碰撞器上 BaBar 探测器记录。该分析基于无分箱多变量最大似然拟合。测得的分支比为：(16.6 ± 1.9 ± 1.5) \times 10^{-6}。该衰变模式首次被观测，显著性为 9.2 \sigma（包含系统误差）。
