L=1 B_1 和 B_2* 介子的观测与性质

摘要
激发态 B 介子 B_1 和 B_2* 首次在完全重建的 B+(*) pi- 衰变中被观测为两个独立的态。测得 B_1 的质量为 (5720.6 +- 2.4 +- 1.4) MeV/c^2，B_2* 与 B_1 之间的质量差 DeltaM 为 (26.2 +- 3.1 +- 0.9) MeV/c^2，从而得出 B_2* 的质量为 (5746.8 +- 2.4 +- 1.7) MeV/c^2。确定 B_1 和 B_2* 介子的产生率为 B+ 介子产生率的 (13.9 +- 1.9 +- 3.2)%。
